Rouse Fly Fishing started in a camper van down by the river. When Jamie first got started in 1992, he lived in a 24 foot camper trailer on the banks of the White River at a place called Rim Shoals. Jamie spent hours in the pursuit of his dream honing his skills and developing techniques, which are now commonplace.
Jamie has designed several fly patterns, which have been available commercially. He has also worked for many years on pioneering advanced streamer techniques for producing very large carnivorous trout. As the business grew, we added more guides and an actual house with a mailbox. Jamie has continued to explore, create and develop with our team.
